Defending the 105th Avenue Area: Our Community, Our Future
"The 105th Avenue Community Defense Alliance was founded in response to the blatant corruption that has been exposed within our city government. With the former mayor recalled in a landslide vote amid multiple ongoing federal investigations, we as a community must assume that corruption flows through every level of the city’s power structure until proven otherwise.
This means every decision made, every policy pushed, and every backroom deal must be scrutinized and exposed. Oakland’s leadership has proven that they do not act in the best interests of the people unless forced to, evidenced by the absolute disintegration of our streets, our safety, our property, our businesses, and in the worst cases, our lives. That ends now.
This coalition exists to demand accountability, enforce transparency, and impose direct civic oversight over the decisions that affect our homes, our streets, and our future—not to beg, negotiate, or play politics.
This is the people’s city—not theirs to sell off to the highest bidder."

The 105th Avenue Community Defense Alliance
The 105th Avenue Community Defense Alliance is a coalition of residents united to defend our neighborhoods, protect our rights, and demand accountability from those in power. We stand against corruption, reckless policies, and decisions that threaten our community’s stability, safety, and quality of life.
We believe our city belongs to the people—not to politicians, private developers, gangs, or outside financial interests looking to exploit it. Our mission is to empower residents, expose corruption, and hold every decision-maker accountable for the policies they impose on our neighborhoods.
Through public advocacy, legal challenges, and direct civic action, we fight for:
✅ Safe, livable communities free from unchecked crime, mismanagement, and neglect.
✅ Responsible development that serves the people—not just corporate interests.
✅ Transparency and ethical governance at every level of city leadership.
✅ Fair housing policies that prioritize residents over speculation.
✅ A city government that works for its citizens, not against them.
✅ An open city ledger clearly indicating where every dollar is sent and for what purpose.
From public safety to housing policy, from zoning battles to budget fights, this alliance exists to ensure that our voices are heard, our rights are defended, and our community is protected—now and for future generations.
Take Action: This is Your City
We’re only as strong as the people who stand with us. Whether you’re ready to speak out at city meetings, document corruption, fight unjust policies, or simply stay informed—your voice is needed.

Community Gratitude
Thank You!
A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in or donated items to our Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive. As our first initiative, it may not have been massive, but it was meaningful. We were able to brighten Thanksgiving for several households in our community. This is the spirit of our neighborhood and our country—neighbors stepping up for each other.
Thank you to all who made it possible!
Our Christmas Holiday Food Drive continued our mission of community support. Through generous donations, we brightened the holidays for another handful of families and seniors on fixed incomes. This endeavor showcases our commitment to unity and mutual aid.
Thank you to all who participated.
Merry Christmas!
